I have used mine on several 350 to 550 mile trips and can confirm that it is comfortable on your rear. I can easily ride 130 to 150 miles between breaks.

I have a medium cruiser size Airhawk for sale with around 3,000 total miles of use. There is one tiny 1/16" inch hole in the washable cover. Other than that, it is in like new & perfect condition.
$100 includes hipping

Shouldn't be much more than a half-inch. You fill it up, sit on it, and let out air until the lowest part of your bum touches down, the theory being the even distribution of your weight.
