I seen the add for the International Bike Show in the new Cycle World the other day.In looking at the add I see that Triumph once again is not going to be represented.I hope I am incorrect in this.I wonder if at each show if we could not get the local Triumph dealers to sponser a spot for the local RAT members to put up a display.Possibly if possible have one of each model that is in Triumphs lineup. Also they could have stock and modified Triumphs there. It would be good to see the mileage on some of these bikes for poteintial buyers to see, especially the higher mileage bikes. They could also have a vote on which bike of the Triumphs there people like best. With this maybe Triumph would at least be represented even if in a small way.People would also see that "yes Triumph does still build motorcycles."

No Triumphs in an International Bike Show? Hard to believe and don't understand the suits.

Same as last year. Has Triumph ever given an "official" word on why they have decided not to participate? Seems crazy to me considering the wave of new riders in the U.S.A.

Talked to a friend last night about my idea and my post.He said he had checked into getting a small space last year.He shocked me with the fact they wanted around $10,000 to set up a spot in the show.Imagine if they get that at each show the city is in.He may be incorrect on his figure but if he is not that's nuts. This was for the Phoenix,Az. show.

I heard the same thing from my local dealer here in the bay Area (CA) that for them, only selling 50,000 bikes a year (all of Triumph) it just cost to much.
I don't get it - I would guess that they are missing a huge opportunity to show people their bikes - the people who never go to a Triumph dealer. If it wasn't for a friend taking me with him to a Triumph dealer 3 years ago I my have ended up with a HD and would have never had that chance to see the Blue '05 Speedmaster I fell in love with the moment I saw it. What a mistake that would have been! and all that extra money I would have spent and surely wouldn't be purchasing a 2010 Thunderbird next. I figure the two bikes will cost me what the HD I almost got would have cost.
