Put a rag in the palm of your hand,hold it behind the chain above the exhaust and spray the cleaner/wax and wipe the chain immediately,continue till chain is clean and do the sprocket also..takes about 10 minutes..I do mine every 500 miles(4-5 tanks)and before a long run day..over 12000 miles on chain and will repla ce when at 2nd to last adjustment(approximately 25000 miles)..keep it clean and adjusted!!!
