You are exactly right about the flasher.
Because I am running LEDs both front and back, I actually took out the indicator bulb on the dash.
Sandmann has a work around on his web site, but I decided to just discard the indicator bulb since my front turn signals are bright enough for me to notice when the turn signals are on.
