Dang, I can't remember who did it but it looked good.

Thought it might. Want to drop the forks to chrome the lowers & change the springs and oil. Thinking of leaving the shrouds off at that point.

If only photopost worked....
I'll work on pics of mine. Bork protectors off a T bird, upper shrouds lower tripple, and lower forks painted black. It's nice

Looks good, but remember the lower shrouds are there to keep dirt off the suspension inners - if they ge grit etc on them you push it into the oil seal every time the suspension works, shortening the lifespan of the seal. You might want to consider putting Bonneville type fork protectors on instead.

The fork protectors I have are just like that, but I think they are off a T bird, so they are split and have a screw tightening on the back. I want to say the bonneville ones are slip-on, so your fork would have to be exactly the same size... But yeah, it looks good too!!

Blackdog, I'll work on some pics for ya.

WOW! Love the look. Makes the front end look alot lighter!I want to do that to my '08 America. What's involved? Do you need fork seal dust covers? Thanks.
