Paid $2.93 at a Wawa in NJ today. Saw $2.83 at a Pilot Truck stop in PA on the way home (Carlisle PA).
Think it will last?

3.29 In CT today. Will it last? Sure it will. Oil companis right now are working on the excuse to raise heating feul costs. Gas prices wont start going up again until April.

Guess I'd be a bit more thrilled about sub-$3 gas if my retirement fund hadn't shrunk right along with it.

Edging closer... I saw 3.09 yesterday. Good to see even premium down way below 4.00 (better to be able to find gas when you need it).

Saw premium on my way in to the office this morning for $2.99 the much loved 89 Octane for $2.84 this is the first time I have seen a gas sign without a leading 4 in a long time.

$2.33.9 for the cheap stuff in Des Moines today. $2.63.9 for 91 octane. It's nice to have a major pipeline running thru town.

In Mt. Home Arkansas today gas is $2.69. It's cheaper about 20miles in any direction.

Carlisle, PA @ a Hess Station. A local guy said the Pilot truck stop up Rt. 11 had it at $1.94. Wow, that Obama guy works fast after only two days on the job. Turns out I may like Obamanomics......

Parts of the Idaho panhandle report $1.99, in the ~$2.20 range around here. I'm feeling better about not going for a ~$850 round trip plane ticket for Christmas a month ago. All things equal, I'd rather be seeing our landscapes from the ground anyway  jh
