I am wondering where I can get this done, it appears that my speedo is running fast. Can any shop do it or is it a dealer deal?

It can be done. It is as simple as getting a taller tyre.

120/90 worked for me

Also heard the 110-90-18 does the trick instead of the 80 series.

Back to the original question, is it possible, easy to do by changing a speedo gear, and staying with the original size tire?
Can it be done ourselves, or dealer , speedo shop only?

Is this same speedo used on another Triumph model, one with a larger front tire? Is that why everyone with a Speedy/America reports that it reads too high?

So from what I can gather from the wealth of knowledge, is there no adjustment that can be made? I wanted to get fatter front rubber anyway. But would like to think that it can be adjusted. I have a feeling once I have the size tire I want it will be running slow....
