...I was on my way home ...it was ... cold, and I had been traveling around 85 mph most of the way back when I looked down at my speedo ...and WOW, 120 mph!

Me too. Riding back from AR. temps in the low 40s upper 30s. Lost it at speeds above 85mph. Heard a mechanical whir when the needle dumped, which went away when I dropped to a moe legal speed. Speaking of, thanks for the brake pads! Nice non door prize. And the Patch! Gosh, had I been there for the non-drawing, I probable would not have non-won anything!

So what did you do about your speedo? Mine reads 5mph on her sidestand. and reads 10mph too fast when rolling. I was thinking that the slabbers in Florida really do haul tail. As I am rolling at what I think is 80mph till it occurs to me that i should look at the tach. the odometer seems to work fine though. Guess I'll judge speed by rpms. Although I have another speedo i could install. Would like to fix the original one as it has the miles on it.

Seems like Cinnamon Girl always likes to get nekked when she travels. I like women like that!

NH: Chain Guard and pillion bolt.
AR: Right pipe's heat shield and speedo

P.S.: Happy belated birthday!
