Once a week I commute from Richmond to Chesapeake on I64. Last week on the way back to Richmond in the pouring rain (I'm in cage)come upon a guy in the passing lane going 50 in a 65 and was reading a book and did not notice he had traffic backed up for a 1/4 mile or so. Seeing people reading on this part of I64 is common. Usually business people reading information (papers stapled together) before going to a meeting that they should have read the night before.
This is the reason I do not make that commute on the bike.
I would like to stay alive for a while and enjoy the bike rides when I can.
