I guess you could simply put the screw back in the exhaust skin with a nut. Wouldn't secure the baffle but It'd stop it being fired out at a cage.

I wrapped some chicken wire around the baffle material, effectivly compressing the weave as per "Triumphant's" advice. Always been happy with the sound but might try this one to see what the difference is.
