SO...if you do it all assembled what happens when it comes time to replace a broken spoke, or what happens to the joint when a spoke needs to be adjusted or moves under load.

Two things here FJ:
1) Ask a powdercoater.
2) Stop being lazy and dissasemble the wheel...youll have all winter.
