None of the above are real Harleys (including the V-Rod) as they are water cooled.

Mine was that, in short, the Bonneville (and models a little earlier) thrashed HD (always in the US) at it's own game in the late 50's + 60's etc on very different styled bikes. At least that's the perception I have - you could correct me on that.
I still think you will see incremental redesigns between now and next July (as my contact tells me) when they go into production.
Who knows, they may even add cooling fins all the way down the barrel casings.
