I did not start this thread as an attempt at a pity party. Yep, we all, including this young gentleman are/were risk takers. It is the nature of what we do. We can be as into our situational awareness, safety practices, maneuvering skills, etc. as much as we like. No matter what shite like this is still going to happen. Period! End of story!
I posted this to bring up the injustice and perhaps bias society accepts when they look at a biker. How the impact of the actions of the LEO's, the media, Joe Sixpack etc. show their approach to that philosophical quantity some call justice. And maybe, just maybe to bow our head in what ever fashion one may to show some respect in remembering the falling of a fellow motorcyclist at the hands of apparent carelessness.
