Not defending the truck driver , but have you ever driven a truck ? The hood almost completely obscures a vehicle in front . This happens quite often - a driver pulls up behind a vehicle , the light takes some time to change , the driver has forgotten about the vehicle in front , light changes , and crunch .
I always make myself a mental reminder that there's someone in front of me .
