I have a plausible solution to this anomaly . For the device to work properly , the radar waves must reflect back to the sender and a calculation is made of the delay , thus the relative speed .

In the case of the America or Speedmaster , there has been a sub-wave of some dispute , some geeks call it the Geezer Sub-Wave , or GSW .
In theory , the emitted wave remains on the surface of the target a nanosecond or so longer , called the "ogling effect" . ( Similar to the ogling gaze of geezers crawling over the bike ).

Sounds good to me .
