The long & short answer is no. Sometimes we want to believe something so bad (regrow hair shampoo, weight loss pills, buy my book-make a million dollars, Yheti exists in Pacific NW mountains, Detroit Lions win the Superbowl), that we blindly ignore all common sense &/or research to the contrary.
