Will the rider and passenger seats from a 2007/8 America fit on a 2003 Speedmaster. I just picked up a used 2003 SM. I love it but the missus says the seat has got to go. I have looked around on this site and elsewhere. It looks like the best option is the rider and passenger combo from a 07 or 08 America. I just need to know if it will fit up to mine.

thanks,

Yankee Dog

yes they will fit but you need the slotted bolt that holds the back of the drivers seat because the pillion front clips onto it.

Definitely will fit after you get the screw mentioned above. Your wife will really like the pillion that came on the 07 and later Americas. I put one on my 05 and it made a world of difference to her.

I also added the thumb screw pillion bolt for ease in taking off. You can get the factory ones or order the chrome ones from NewSpeedmaster.com
