Ok all I am sure I am showing my stupidity here but I am confused. I have an 08 America and I bought a Speedy seat for it because I like the look and i wanted something to customize while still riding on my America seat.

Anyway, I tried putting the seat on this weekend and my stock america seat bolt doesn't work. Is there a special bolt or attachment I need to get to use the speedy seat? I can't imaging that I just use the rear bolt to hold it on with nothing in between.

I believe that the part is called bayonette clip. It bolts onto the fender directly over the hole where you would bolt the solo seat. The seat will only go on if the clip is facing the right direction, I believe the knotch should face the right hand side of the bike, but not sure. Either way just look at the seat and the part and it will make better sence. I hope that helps! Good Luck!

I did this set up on my 05 bonny. The very rear still gets the original 8mm bolt used on the rear of the P-pad, and the bayonet bolt is around the middle, probably where mil-mech stated. I'm not sure, cause I never followed thru with using it. I mounted it for 4-sale pic's only. The bayonet, part # T2300120, cost me $11.69 & tax in Florida.
