I think you forgot the one tenet that applies to most businesses and especially to drinking establishments.....

Walk into most bars anywhere and you will likely see a simple straightforward declaration....

"We reserve the right to withhold service to anyone" or words to that effect.

I suppose even in this day and age that could be construed as just about any reason they see fit.

Perhaps so especially in an old school Irish drinking establishment

There are probably some bars that not only would have evicted you but the bouncers might have taken the opp to rough you up a bit.

Having been 86ed from a few drinking establishments in my youth ...I'd say without prejudice ......

She may have been a ****** but it was her bar and her right to be that ******. Irish ****** being extraordinary in that regard.
