Wish I had my camera with me today, I'm sitting at a red light. This guy goes through the intersection on a red Goldwing with at least a dozen extra refletors stuck to it.Big guy had to weigh in around 300lbs, hes wearing one of those plastic orange and yellow flag mans vests. And his helmet is painted bright orange.Looked like a moving "Hazzard warning" sign. I tell ya if anyone pulls out in fornt of this guy and says "I did not see him" should be dragged out and shot, before he has a chance to breed.

And the man in the suit has just bought a new car

Got a similar guy I see all the time when heading home from work. Some BMW make, not sure which. Same reflectors, same safety vest, same bright orange helmet, The capper is his license plates are "BSEEN". More power to the guy if that is what he thinks he needs to do to help the idiots see him. Has probably been hit once or twice with the cagers excuse of "I'm so sorry, I didn't see him." To each his own. Not my cup of tea but you can't miss this guy.

Seen a few of those types before, myself. I'll bet a conversation would indicate they've had a less than pleasurable 'experience' in their past.

I painted my Fat Boy Chevy hugger orange. So, looks like I'm covered even when I'm naked. Well, ok I guess "covered" doesn't work there.

The best way to be seen is to look like a motorcycle cop. Everybody sees them because they perceive them as a threat.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I do wear an orange thong when I ride if you must know. Think that helps?

First Army put out regulations that must be adhered to and if caught you are subject to punishment under UCMJ. It states that you must: Attend the Motorcycle Safety Courses, if an experienced rider you must attend the Advanced Riders Safety Course, You must wear a DOT helmet, Long pants, Boots that cover the ankle, Goggles or wrap around glasses (Normal glasses do not meet the standard), A Bright colored jacket or bright colored long sleeve shirt, Full fingered gloves, and last but not least a bright green or orange reflective belt! If caught without these items you are subject to punishment. This is a 24-7 regulation not just while riding on a military post. I do not agree with this at all! First off, if this is what they require then they should provide the riders with the gear that they demand to be worn. Next they say that if you do not wear these items that you may avoid a preventable injury. If they were that concerned about avoiding a preventable injury we wouldn't be across the pond playing in a sandbox. If you meet the state regulations I don't believe that somebody that gets a bug up their a$$ should be able to supersede state or federal regulations. The whole reason for this is because of an increase in motorcycle deaths sustained by military personnel. Do you think the price of fuel can be blamed? The majority of personnel that have been killed are soldiers riding crotch rockets. Does that tell you something? Unfortunately more young riders or drivers are involved in accidents but it is the inexperience that is the problem and there is only one way to get experience, Ride or Drive! Sorry about the long rant but I had to vent a little!

ladisney is right. Rode a cop bike for years never had any problem. Repainted it, and you guess it, hit by a cage.

Well folks...THAT does it! You've convinced me here! I'm gonna get me an old black and white KZ1000, AND start wearin' a big ol' orange jump suits with reflective tape wrapped all around it, and THEN all my problems with those moronic cagers will vanish as so much dust in the wind. (BTW...do you guys think putting one of those long safety flags poles thingies on my Kawasaki might be considered overkill???...nah...I think I'll go with one o' them too..one can never be too safe ya know)

I'm thinking he's a leftover mod. Did he have an Italian suit and a lot of mirrors too?
As for copcycles always being seen, I think I might get all my fenders painted white.
