My life has really changed in those 7 years.
At the time I was bumming around doing a little farm work for my folks and a neighbor, after having been kicked outta college. I remember hearing it on the radio when I woke up at 9. And then being out raking hay and looking up and not seeing a single contrail in the sky.
My little brother had left for basic 2 weeks before and called home that night.
Catherine was living in Costa Rica at the time and didn't come home till June and still doesn't understand how the country changed for those months right after. When she got home we had switched over to what seemed like a fake patriotism to her.
