I got it done. I took the jet holder back out, soaked it in some solvent, a drop of liquid wrench and the jet came right out. I tried the ther carb and it all came apart as easy as could be. Of course its raining here today so I can't go for a ride....

Here's my long story of what I did to the bike after reading here.

I drilled out the first baffle, did a sloppy job, just don't look up my pipes.
I rejetted with the carbs on the bike. This saved me no time. There are eight screws for the float bowls and seven of them are easy to reach. That last one is a pig, I tried every sort of tool to get it. How I managed to booger it up without ever getting a good grip on it I don't know. It finally came of with a tiny locking plier, a cheap copy of a vise grip, its about the size of a car key. An awful long time on one screw. Now that I've replaced to bowl screws with allen heads its easy enough to remove them.
When the jet holder came out with the jet I was worried I was messing somthing up, I didn't want to proceed without knowing where to get another part if need be. Still ain't sure.
So now I'll put in the K&N filter and pull the snorkel and see if I can tell the difference. Maybe next year I'll drill another baffle and jet again.
Thanks all,
ZH
