The EZ Brackets I purchased were from many moons ago. At that time, there were no such thing as replacement posts. The suggestions were: try shimming with washers, try loosening and tightening, etc. I tried everything to no avail.
I reported all this to the company (
http://www.easybrackets.com/index.htm) and they told me they would take it under advisement. So perhaps my problems solved the issues with subsequent installs. The things I do for youse guys!
I wanted the brackets to work so short of giving up, I got out the Dremel!
They work extremely well now and unless I have the bags off, you cannot see my surgery.
