Looks like a cheaper alternative, although I don't like the side opening.

Which ones are you looking at? Some of them look a little small.

I've got a set of their LN's and another set similar to their GA's.
I bought both off of ebay for less than list. I got the GA's with easy brackets for $80.

They're small, but they look okay on the bike and serve my purpose....

I knew that you would want pics as soon as I posted that reply. I'll have to find some photo hosting site and give it a shot.

I haven't worried about pics on here since PhotoPost went away....

I considered the MU bags as well, but at 22" long, I didn't see how I could fit them between the shocks and the turn signals.

I went to take pix of the bags on the bike yesterday. I noticed some pix were aleady on the camera - shots of my son's vehicles and a few others and a couple purple/red blurs.
I backed the bike out of the garage and took a bunch of pictures of the bags from all angles. Pulled the card out of the camera and put it in the puter and there were now many more pix of purple/red blurs. So somehow, my digital camera is now fubar, just like the one it replaced and the one before that...

So I've got a Canon SD870 IS pocket camera on order... but no pix of the bags on the bike....

I was considering buying some for my Speedy, but then I read some comments on a Kawasaki forum site that's making me think twice about getting them.

http://www.kawasakimotorcycle.org/forum/kawasaki-cruisers/66329-mutazu-bags-trunks.html

I may have to bite the bullet on this one and spend a few more bucks for a sturdier bag.

I'm not gonna tell anyone to get them or don't get them, but the ones I have aren't as thin or flimsy as the guy on that site indicates. No, I wouldn't carry gold ingots in them but for a rainsuit, gloves, sweatshirt, a few packs of smokes, maps, camera, etc. they are fine.
I have mine mounted with easy brackets with 4 large thin rubber washers and thin ss fender washers inside and out, plus ss hardware. The mounting kits they sell are 2 pieces of bent - maybe 1/8 - flat bar with various holes drilled in the length of them. Rubber grommets and standard steel hardware. "Universal" they call it.....

If I catch the Fedex guy tomorrow delivering my new camera (signature required - I hate that..) I'll try to get some pix up in the next day or two.

Like the LN's, but not ready to spend the money to be sure if they work or not with my bike. Havent found a picture of the LN's mounted on either SM or BA.

2007 Custom America with BUBs I make my own parts cause I cant afford to buy theirs.

Wow, I would say they are a little small, but the pair of gloves kind of tells the story. I do like the easy bracket though.

Actually, there's 2 pairs of gloves, a hat, a hairbrush, and a neckwarmer in there...

gloves etc.

I like them because I need the bag on the rear to carry my stuff back and forth to work everyday so I can put all my small stuff in these for easy access when I'm just out riding.
I have a glimmer of a plan to hook the lights up as running lights. It involves Fry Daddy technology and rare-earth hard drive magnets.
But that's for the upcoming winter.

Those are similar to Mutazu's GA bags, only slightly smaller. Roughly 17"long, 10 1/2" high and 5 1/2" wide. I bought them on ebay with easy brackets for $80. I really just wanted the brackets, but I couldn't pass it up at that price. I put another bag on the parcel rack when I do an over-nighter or more, and you can't open the top loading bags with that bag on the rack.
