Ironically, just days before I bought my 2008 TBA, I was watching this auction. I had the bid filled in and my finger on the 'place bid' button when that voice in my head said, "don't do it, Joe! don't do it!! Do you really want to explain to people why it says 'Billy Joel' on your fender?? How lame!!"
I tried to do a post-auction end run with the seller and get it at a lower price, and he actually had the nerve to ask for a higher price than the auction minimum. I told him that for me, Billy Joel's signature detracted from the value of the bike...
