I have some stiff plastic coated wire and thought about using it.

Re: tank vent - I modified a Kury gas cap to do pressure vent and blocked the tank vent off.



yeah as long as it gets the job done, I just figured if you werent using the holes and wrapping it around the base of the tabs then you'd be able to leave the wire under the dash and not have to take it off to move it.
