There actually IS a kit for the Bonneville/Speedmaster (and therefore even for the TBA), at least at Jack Lilley:

AFAIK there is some kind of difference (don't know what) between US and Euro sold bikes. You can order D-kits from a lot of places in Europe, but this is special in the way that it doesn't seem to require drilling in the slide. Instead there are lighter(?) springs which you don't find in the other sets. What still puzzles me is the low number marking on the jets...
I've also heard of fitting (lighter) vacuum piston springs from the Screechin' Eagle 44CV-carbs as a possible way to improve throttle response.
