Good point. I've talked to quite a few owners who, when asked about the suspension replay "yeah, it holds air or something". They of course have not dialed theirs in.Quote:
oh.....you mentioned suspension.
mine has 3 stage progressive in the front and air ride in the back. You really have to dial in the back because it is really messy if you don't.
The front's first stage is pretty soft but the second and final are pretty respectable.
Well, once again Al, I'm figurin' anybody who has owned OR owns a Triumph motorcycle (like Tony here) would be "savy enough" to figure out how to adjust a Harley's suspension so they could at least have some fun on the twisties with it!!!

(it's those "Lifestyle Folks" I have "little problem" thinking the same thing about, ya know!)
Well, the one thing I am having an issue with is that SOME people I know (some ride-some don't) think I just stepped up in the food chain because I bought a "hahlee".
"lifestyle" people are ok with me. I am that way with the SM and Triumphs in general. I just can't go with the notion that h-ds are in someway overly superior that any other bike. I think you get what you pay for because the the fit and finish is great and they ride well but I don't drink the kool-aide about the superiority complex.
Every company out there has a bike I would own, every bike can have a glitch here and there and more importantly it doesn't really matter what you ride it's just important that you are riding and being safe.
People are already busting my hump about wearing my triumph paddock jacket on the new bike.
Some people just don't get it!
