hhhmmmm I haven't had that problem. Yea, it will scrape a bit but nothing out of the ordinary.....the sm used to scrape as well.

didn't say you where a novice....just saying that the "big and slow" or "outdated" thing just isn't true anymore.

frank, me and a friend of ours did a LOAD of twisties this weekend and the bike didn't flinch. The only issue was on a VERY tight turn, I hit a groove. had the pucker factor but it's understandable.

On the speedmaster, and I am not tooting my own horn, there wasn't much that could catch me in the twisties. I'm winning no isle of man on the glide but it will certainly hold it's own.

I like the 96ci over the 88ci because it has more usable torque in the twisties.

They have worked out all the bugs on the fly by wire throttle and and added a cush drive and for a bone stock bike, it's very smooth.
