actually, you'd be pretty surprised on how it handles. ever ride one? won't smoke a sportbike but I can promise you that it handles surprisingly well in the twisties.
I think Frank will vouch for the fact that it hasn't slowed me down in the twisties much.
It's big but there are plenty bigger. Big and slow is a stereo type. I can certainly get "in trouble" with it. My tookus just doesn't hurt as much while doing it.
I bought it for long periods on the slab. if not for that I'd still have the SM. the SM is a VERY good bike. possibly the most over looked bike in motorcycle'n.
