I have taken them all out of several bikes but leave the reducer cone at the header end. Nice deep tone and pretty loud. The rest of the baffles come out more easily but if you have an 06 or newer you probably have the cat in there so be careful not to smash that shut unless you are going to remove that too. Haven't done that yet but I hear it isn't easy.
