I just won this jacket on eBay Check it out I think it's the Triumph Bomber Jacket that they no longer make. Those used to retail for around $345, so I think I got a good deal. Never seen one in person but from what I've read most people seem to like them.

Cool, if it fits good and you like it, then you got a helluva deal

I usually wear a 40 and I have heard these run a bit small so i figured i would roll the dice, hoping the 42 will work for me.

Right after I had made my decision to look again at the Triumph, (this was back in late 2003), I went back in to British-USA to look at the Speedmaster. I have to say that looking at the Triumph jackets on the rack there really helped me solidify my decision. That Bomber Jacket was awesome!
I would never expect anything that heavy duty (read: REAL) to ever be found in a HONDA shop, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, either - certainly not with their name on it. That was the real deal, for sure. Then I KNEW I had to have a Triumph so I could have a real Triumph jacket!
I have no complaints about any of the Triumph clothing I have aquired. Top shelf stuff, the lot of it.

Thanks for the input. I have never seen one in person. Your comments are pretty much in line with other things i have heard so I am pretty psyched to see it. It should be arriving today. Hopefully my guess on the size is on target. I will post an update when it arrives.

So I received my new jacket on Friday. It seems the stories I've read about the older Triumph stuff running small were slightly exagerated. The jacket fits but is a tad too large. But I am not completely convinced that the 40 would fit perfectly either. In any case the 42 is wearable. The leather is soft and heavy, though not as heavy as my Vanson. I wore it for the first time yesterday and it is very comfortable and looks great on. Because of the full body liner this will be my fall/spring jacket. Over all I am very happy with it. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this jacket to anyone who has a chance to grab one.

Sounds like you got a great deal. Congrats, and wear it in good health.
