 Painting pipes

Some have painted their pipes Black and a number have done so by using grill paint. While I realize that the best application to do this would be by using the ceramic coat process, I just happen to stumble upon this product and have to wonder how well it might work: Thurmalox Stove Paint

Somebody told me the other day that you can now get ceramic coating in a spray can at Lowes or Home Depot.

Really? hmmm interesting...
One of the things I noted on the stove paint is that they have a clear as well... given that, one could do a good coat of Black and put clear on top to help protect against nicks and scratches...

Looks like regular high heat paint to me, prob. with a higher price tag. I have just used the high heat paint for grills on my newest ground pounders and the pipes i got from chevy605, and on the exhaust on my old yamahas. works great, its cheap, and its easy to touch up in the event of a scratch or oily hand print. Just warm them up and spray away.....
