just wondering... what is a good "limit" when making a profit? who stipulates what that limit should be?
'casue in order to be "excess" by logic then there has to be a limit... not trying to stir the pudding or anything... just wondering.

Well, according to Deardorff's Glossary of International Economics excess profit is:
Profit of a firm over and above what provides it's owners with a normal (market equilibrium) return to capital.
Definition of market equilibrium:
Equality of quantity supplied and quantity demanded.
Definition of equilibrium:
A state of balance between offsetting forces for change, so that no change occurs.
Now if that doesn't make it as clear as mud, I don't know what will

I just want to know if there are any O'bamas still living in Ireland  So how long has Palin been Gov. Of Alaska? I dont think she can take credit for the oil money Alaska citizens get each year. Thats been going on a long time. I think the Military will probly cancel her sons deplyment to Iraq. Once the press starts reporting his every move. It will make him a target.Like when a certain English nobleman went to Afganistan.
