Given my experience with Bridgestone/Firestone tires, I would imagine their next public enlightenment will be to advise against driving thru curves with their tires.
Anytime you can put out a pre-emptive statement that covers your butt, any related future failure can be resolved with a "We told you so..." The public will view this as a benevolent warning, when in reality, an honest statement like "We make crap tires" would be more accurate.
That's how I see it, as always, your results may vary...
