...and won (so far at least).

When I got home from work today, there wasn't room to pull the bike into the garage, so I left it at the end of the driveway. A few minutes later, my ex-wife left in a hurry, and (of course) backed right into my bike. When I came outside, the bike was leaning to its right, defying the laws of gravity and balanced with the right bar-end and the seat resting on the door of my car. She backed into the left side, and the left floor board is bent; the bracket and bolts that hold it are bent up too. Shifter seems to be fine, and the mirror and clutch lever adjusted right back into place. I can't find anything else wrong with the bike. The clutch lever left a gash in the paint on the side of the minivan about 18 inches long. My car has a small dent on the back door.

I still had the old foot peg mounting bolts, and have the floorboard bracket back on. I'm going to see if I can straighten out the board this weekend, and hopefully it will work. Feeling really lucky right now...maybe time for a quick trip for some lottery tickets.

Ex-wife.... You sure it was an accident?!

Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

No kidding! Imagine if you were still married to someone like that!
