I know what you are saying Ed but I think rather than blaming the game companies it goes back to the parents teaching kids the difference between fantasy and reality and right from wrong. I believe if the kid (I use the term "kid" loosely) couldn't distinguish the game from reality it was either due to a mental illness or failure of parental guidance at an earlier age not the people who made the games. I enjoy video games but don't even have the thought that I can go do those things in real life, that would be ludicrous.
