That's what I like about Metallica, always that bit of uncertainty what the new album's going to be like
To be honest I like them all, recordings have been a bit hit & miss on certain albums IMO though. And really couldn't get my ears round Lar's snare on St. Anger, had to record the live stuff you get with the album in the end, snare's OK on that!
Real pity we missed them last weekend at Leeds Festival, tried to get tickets months ago for the weekend but they'd sold out within hours. Metallica & Rage Against The Machine at same venue...awsome!
