OP Jerkface Adjunct Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 117 Chicago, IL USA	I just had a new rear tire (tyre) put on at the dealer (I had a puncture) and now the rear brakes are very soft. Hardly any bite at all. I'm the worlds 2nd worst mechanic, but my theory is that the brakes probably need some bleeding. That sound good? Anyone have a better theory?

If this is the way you received the bike after the tire repair take it back to the dealer. A rear tire removal (I'm assuming that's what they did) shouldn't require bleeding of the rear brake system. Check the rear brake line going to the caliper. Binksie Complete Newb Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1	The rear brake line went bad on my 03 America. Suggested replacement interval is 4 years. I'm putting braided cables on this weekend.
