When I was saying about swapping plates between bikes I was pulled over on my 58 T-110 with the tag from my 66 TR6C on it. All I got was a ticket for no inspection. Cop never knew the difference. They do run the tag but I have never had one verify the VIN on the bike. All they are normally concerned with is if the tag is valid. I also handed him the ins from the 66 at the same time.
