I have been pulled over , they never check here. At least they never used to. The VIN is right on the registration card they wouldn't need to run it just look at the VIN. They do run the tag when they pull you over but most cops here wouldn't know a 64 Triumph from a 69 Triumph or even either of those from a 54. They are too lazy to bother with VIN numbers here unless they suspect it stolen.
