12.5 is the only size listed for the 440 for our bikes.
Some one more than 230 pounds would have to crank up their preloads. Some one less than 230 pounds would have a stiff ride in a heavy duty shock, but the 440's don't come in a HD shock.
I know someone who is in the same weight range as you and has not had any trouble. It is more when you get into the 460 pound range (50% of the time)that you need a Heavy Duty.
I'll get a point specific answer for you on Monday. A guy wants to get it right when spending a lot on shocks. shock.
