The average miles per year is just under 3k per a dealer I know. If you look at Craigslist, cycletrader etc. Most of the bikes are averaging about 3k/ It is common to see, even here, 2003 models with 10k or less.
This board is like most riders. A lot of garage art laying around. I bought my 05 in December of 05. 2.5 years and it only has 20k. Granted, it is not the only seat in the garage but I think I only ride about 15k a year.
