I often wonder if stuff like this would be reduced if trackdays were made more affordable and more accessible for both cars and bikes.
On the police car thing yep they do have some serious kit in the car although a lot of traffic police will deny it. I did a ride along with police traffic and the level of their driving is unbelievable.
