Sweet. I've got '65 Stang with the original 289 but I also have a 302 core sitting in my garage. The 289 needs a rebuild too but I'm not sure which one I'm going to do. Want to keep the 289 original.

No photo's yet of my new to me Speedmaster. She is just a plain jane 2003. You all know what they look like. This is my long distance ride. Although I am thinking of putting the SM to the test as well. Why, because its what I do. And for something completely different. A 2005 Ural Gear Up

By the way I also have a 76 Suzuki GT 750 triple 2 stroke and 2 GT 380s and a Honda 500 the funny looking V twin that kinda looks like a Guzzi engine. I don't include those in my count since they are jap. The GT 750 is buried in my shed the 2 380s have been sitting outside for the last 10 or so years and the Honda sits where I rode it to in the woods behind my house about 5 years ago. wasn't anything wrong with it when I parked it there but who knows now.
Shame on you Ian. Dont you know those bikes have feelings to. Bring them in from the cold and stop being so cruel.
How bad are the GT380s. Would you be intersted in letting one of those go. I have to finish my Honda project first which will hopefully be next spring, but after that, if you are into it. I wouldnt mind taking one of those of your hands.

The mind is the first thing to go, I'm told. I thought the Suzuki GT's were two cyl's? I had a Suzuki 500 GT back in the mid 70's, could have sworn it was a twin? Sounds like a nice harem you've got there, Dog.

Actually, the H1 you refer to is a H2. My H1 is in shed #4, which means she is FAR, FAR away from being photo ready. I would at least want a newer box before taking her picture!

The GT250, GT500 are two stroke twins, the GT380 and GT550 were two stroke triples and the last of the breed, the GT 750 is a water cooled two stroke triple.
All of the triples are higlhy desireable bikes. At least in my eyes they are.

I had the 550 but traded it for my Norton P-11, I rode the snot outa that bike. It would spin the rin inside the tire if you didn't have the rim locks good and tight. It would smoke the rear tire very easily if you did!
The 2 380s have been robbed for parts over the years and god knows what happened to the titles, I bought them for parts. Both engines are complete and used to run but I would bet are frozen now from sitting in the weather. I took the front end off the one and some odds and ends off both but I bet there is one complete bike between the 2 and probably wouldn't take many parts to put both back together. I would part with both cheaply.

Man O Man. A pic of my first bike. That H2 is/was flat scary. The late come on always blew me away. The only bike I ever did a 50 yard wheelie on. Accidentally. I was Under the influence and pulled up next to a Harley who was blipping his throttle at the red light. So I was clowning around and blipping back at him. The light turned green...and my young mind said "GO". I finally pushed the front end back down and made an impossible turn into a 7-11 parking lot a ways down the road. I was shaken up by my foolishness and was just pulling my helmet off when Mr Harley pulled in. He didn't even look at me, knowing I was completely insane at that point. Ah memories.
Ridin' and playin' 'til I can't.

Thanks erle. Before I bought the black Spyder, I did want a silver-blue one, but now I'm kind'a glad I bought a black one. And BTW, if you look real closely at it, you can probably see why I still use that picture of the back of the silver James Dean replica Spyder as my avatar. You see, just before he was killed in his Spyder, "The Rebel" had famed custom car maker George Barris paint "Little B*stard" on the back of his car, and so I've just figured that that was still pretty much apropos in MY CASE, and that's why I've kept it! (...and trust me dude, you probably wouldn't find many folks around here who would argue with THAT, boy!!!)

Well, an itty-bitty part of it is anyway, Ian. The engine block is from a '67 VW, but it has billet heads with goodly sized valves, and has been bored and stroked to 2165cc which all sits forward of the rear wheels where it dynos at about 155BHP. And with it's purpose-built tube chasis, the whole car weighs in at about 1250lbs, so it goes like a bat out o' you-know-where! (in other words, it's about as close to bein' a "four-wheeled motorcycle" as you can get, dude!)

Well, that's certainly understandable, Tom.
That must be because of all the times around here when I've said that BA.com needs more cowbells!
(or I suppose it also could have seen all those times around here when I've relayed the story to you folks about where a friend of mine once hide his watch so the enemy couldn't find it)

Kinda funny, I had a 63 VW Bug that had a 914 engine and trans in it. Wish I still had it, that was a fun car.
