That's the way to do it!
We got our wood stove the same day in 2005 that we got the Speedmaster. We've been using wood as a primary heating source ever since and have saved thousands of dollars on heating oil. All our FREE wood comes from blowdowns in the woods around us or from neighbors that have trees taken down and don't have a use for the wood.
Cutting, splitting & stacking wood is rewarding and great exercise too.
