3.53 in central ms. saw one station that was 3.46

$3.36 for the cheap stuff tonight. Down 70 cents now. Another buck and a half and I'll stop being ****** off. 
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Perhaps Dwight.But what is going on in Georgia is why all those recently freed eastern european counrtys are scrambling to join NATO. They know that sooner or later the USSR wil try to rebuild. Thing is the Geogians started it
and are now looking to the west to bail them out.

I don't think anybody's rebuilding an empire (Russia's becoming too "cash-rich" on it's own for that mistake to happen again).
Did someone really think that NATO would park itself on Russia's doorstep and that it (Russia) wouldn't send out a strong signal?

The Georgians went into a break way province to bring them back under central government control and the Russians invade saying the Georgians were out of line. I guess the Russians think everyone has forgotten what they did in Chechnya. The Russians have been fomenting the problems there so I guess it’s not a surprise. As I recall from my history, some mustached fellow did something similar in the Sudetenland in October 1938. There are also reports that the Russians started a cyber attack on the Georgian government a week or two ago. Personally I wouldn't be surprised to see the Georgians and Ukrainians getting lots of top of the line anti-aircraft and anti-tank stuff real soon.

So its $3.45 today and diesel is finally down to $3.99. It looks like the storm is clearing everyone!! Time to go get me a new SUV, maybe one of those Excursions, I heard they get almost 12mpg!!! SWEET!!  By the way, we dont run corn syrup in our cars here, so I dont see how the E85 stuff isn't cheaper still.

I don't think I would get used to the lower prices. I saw a prediction 3 months ago that prices would drop and then go back up. I blew it off at the time but I think these prices are more political than cost of production based.

I saw prices go up - $4.10 in Lake Co,IN and south chicagoland today. Still $3.89 here in town, never saw a price drop in the last few weeks.

This is what "they" want. Us getting comfortable with gas at around $3.25 because it's gone down so much. Bull. I'll remember it as going up so much, too much. Anything over $2.50 is too much. I don't expect a buck a gallon like it was for many years, but going from $2+ to $4+ in such a short amount of time is just total rip-off. And, so is settling for anything over $3.

Thats why I asked if anyone remember the average price last year.
It's like a store haveing a 10% off everything sale,,2 months after raising the price 25%.
We are all supposed to jumping for joy that prices have dropped,and too stupid to see what they are doing.

They have been using this ploy for almost as long as I can remember. Raise it a lot then drop it a little so we feel better that it came down. $3.59 for regular here yesterday.
