Anyone have the part# for the carb idle mixture screw adjuster? Not the screwdriver looking thingie but the adapter that goes with it... It's in the tool section of the later versions of the factory repair manual. It's about an inch or so long.. cylindrical with a shoulder.
Yeah.. I know.. I shoulda written it down before I got out of there but I didn't.

For twice what the tool costs, you can get the thumbscrews which I absolutely love. They are exact replacements for stock (1.5 turns = 1.5 turns) and extremely easy to use. I spent the first month I had them making 1/4 turn adjustments until I found the bike's sweet spot. You also can see exactly how much you're turning and where they are at all times.

They are scored at halves. When all the way in both mine had one of the marks exactly facing the right side of the bike. I used a sharpie to make a black mark on each scoring facing that side. The black mark is now one turn, the other mark is 1/2. Really cool.

I have one of the BCT001's & use mine with a 1/4" socket and a flathead screw of the proper length & width in the bottom of the socket to keep the D tool in the proper position while adjusting the pilots screws. It works.
