Actually Pedro, I had one idea here which may or may not work out, but those steering head keys do tend to be pretty tough to operate when new a lot of the time, and so if you're not exactly sure that it's the "wrong key", you might try shooting some graphite oil into the lock and see if maybe that's all it really is.

(many others, including myself, have had that problem when we initially purchased our bikes)
