just a note for any one coming in the park always say your your camping at the group camp site..even if your not!!!! that way it won't cost you any $$$$$$$ and say your with the "NorEast triumph rider group" that has the group camp site the only road in that won't have a park ranger at it is the dirt gravel road off "sandy hill rd/kanona hill rd " Ed & Vicki

Left Amishtown around 5:30 pm -- currently alive & well at State College, PA, where I'm holed up for the night. Route 11 would've been a good way to go, but this way will work too. Motorcyclist do not get lost -- they explore.
Gettysburg visit - incredible dose of history - got a little caught up on what I slept through back in school. "History? We no need no stinkin' history!"
We lucked out and scored a bona fide & enthusiastic military historian for a guide who drove us 'round the battle fields, and brought the whole story of this battle to a tangible presentation.
There is a brand new NPS museum opened in 04/08 that's a must for any potential Gettysburg visitors as well.
Psyched to see my Triumph Homies. See you all tomorrow.

The 3 Amigos are heading out Thursday morning as well. If we don't get abducted by love-starved, corn-fed, mountain honeys on our way through the wooded mountains of PA, we should arrive Thursday late afternoon also. Our route takes us through 43 small towns in PA alone, so there's probably a better chance we'll be delayed by geezer gab.....

I may not make it after all this year. My bike, which is being shipped back from seattle, has been delayed again. Since I didn't hear anything today it probably won't arrive before friday. I've cancelled my Thursday night room but I'm still holding out some hope - the weather looks good.

WIll be departing from Duluth, MN in 12 minutes (0630) quick stop at home to pick up my big bag and OTD for parts west. Hope to hit middle Michigan, maybe Saginaw before the end of the day. Taking the route through UP of Michigan and across that little piece of Canada to NY!
Hope to get there by tomorrow night. But down side? I was on an early flight this morning so I have been up since 0330 so we'll see how far we get today. Lot's of Coffee!

Ride safe Eddy. Lack of sleep and two wheels means lot's of stops. When you have to scream in your helmet at yourself, well it may be time, from what I hear, for a sparks.

MAde it to Makinac bridge called it quits, cold and tired all day. AS Moe suggested we stopped more than a few times for coffee and just to keep the brain going. Were just short of goal by 80 miles, we'll make it up tomorrow when we are fresh. It was cold the whole way, supposed to be in 70-80's, tomorrow, we'll see. Today was 60's and chilly. But all is good!

That was still a decent ride at just over 400 miles or so. Another 700 to go say 500 if you cut through Canada! (but you know that)

Ok ,guys. We have the dealership all set for you. Lunch at noon, coffee, soda, demo rides, and some specials. I rode out Thursday to meet Uncle Charlie and Bucky-what a blast. Biker did a great job on the location. Anybody in the area is welcomed to join us at Buck's Sat. at noon. AND, I finally get to meet fasteddy! Life is good.

Oh boy-what fun we had Sat. with the Nor-East rally at Triumph of Buffalo! First I gotta tell ya I got to meet and greet with the famous Uncle Charlie, Bucky, Biker, fasteddy, and MANY more friends, including the tech guru Pat AKA dingua among others. I intercepted fasteddy and his riding bud at 11pm or so-got them into "port" and we all met up Sat. at Bucks. What a blast. Lots of jokes, cool bikes, frindships being formed, a great dealer to support the event, and yours truly cooking hot dogs for two hours to feed the masses! To top it off, we were offered a Can-Am Spyder, Tiger, R3T and R3 Classic, and a Bonnie with BUBS for demo rides! At one point, we thought Bucky split with the Can-Am and high-tailed it over the boarder to CA! I no sooner suggested that "one of you guys might think of finding him" and lo and behold, here he returns! Big grin on his face, too! So that's how the afternoon went. A few minor repairs here, a t-shirt sold there, and it's all good. Ed and his bride, AKA Biker, did a fantastic job with the rally details. The weather was fine, the ride good, the compamy fantastic, and i cannot wait to see all of the riders again real soon. What a great bunch. Hope Ed gets 150 next year. Yep, I'll fire up TWO grills!

Made it home last night just shy of 11:00, 870 kilometres (540 miles) round trip. Pretty far to go to get a free lunch and meet some jokers.
Willy (bikerT) split off from me around 8:30 and I'll be checking with him to make sure he's home safe and sound.
